Founder, Director and Publisher

An accomplished and renowned publisher, Sue is not only the founder and director of The Right Book Company, she also leads our happy team and gets personally involved with every project. 

After nearly 30 years working in publishing, Sue's vast experience and expertise are second to none. Having witnessed time and again the power of a book to elevate and accelerate the success of many a business owner turned author, Sue created her own publishing company that puts world-class quality, the highest standards and the hopes, dreams and goals of the author at the heart of everything it does.

Paul East

Marketing and Client Services Director

Paul has been working with books his entire professional life, and he knows a lot more than most about how both the book trade works and how to promote and market books.

Working closely with Sue Richardson, Paul enjoys putting his 30+ years of book buying, merchandising, retail and marketing experience to good use helping our authors craft high-quality products that are optimised to help them reach their goals. Then, once the book is ready, he applies his book marketing expertise to equip our authors with the knowledge they need to reach their readers, plan their marketing and maximise the long term potential of their book.

Debbie Nichol

Business Support Manager

 

From sales and marketing to admin and appointments, Debbie's here to help us keep everything we do running smoothly and efficiently.

Debbie brings a wealth of experience in all areas of business and over the past few years, has been bringing her big company skills to smaller enterprises, working alongside business owners and directors to help them grow and develop their business. With an eye for the detail and a passion for making processes work seamlessly, Debbie enjoys nothing more than a new challenge and a good walk up a big hill!

Andrew Chapman

Production Manager

Andrew is our hands-on production guru, with a wealth of experience in the essentials of crafting and creating books.

With nearly 30 years' experience as a writer, editor and designer of books and magazines for an impressive range of clients and publications, Andrew loves the practical aspects of taking a book from raw text to finished product. As a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, he is highly skilled in ensuring his books meet the highest standards, and his extensive typesetting and book layout experience means he also understands how to make your book look the part.

Beverley Glick

Developmental Editor

Our editorial team is the best in the business, and Beverley is one of the wizards who works closely with our authors to help them write, shape and structure the best possible manuscript.

Beverley has been a professional writer and editor since the early Eighties. She started out as a music journalist (who coined the term “The New Romantics”) and went on to become the editor of pop magazine Record Mirror. She subsequently began a long career in national newspapers (at The Observer, Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Express) in a variety of roles including features writer, columnist, commissioning editor, production editor and sub-editor.

She is also a leadership communications coach and trainer, specialising in storytelling, speech structure and TED-style speaking. Written or spoken, she loves words and always will!
