Sue Richardson

Founder, Director and Publisher

An accomplished and renowned publisher, Sue is not only the founder and director of The Right Book Company, she also leads our happy team and gets personally involved with every project.

After nearly 30 years working in publishing, Sue's vast experience and expertise are second to none. Having witnessed time and again the power of a book to elevate and accelerate the success of many a business owner turned author, Sue created her own publishing company that puts world-class quality, the highest standards and the hopes, dreams and goals of the author at the heart of everything it does.

Paul East

Marketing and Client Services Director

Paul has been working with books his entire professional life, and he knows a lot more than most about how both the book trade works and how to promote and market books.

Working closely with Sue Richardson, Paul enjoys putting his 30+ years of book buying, merchandising, retail and marketing experience to good use helping our authors craft high-quality products that are optimised to help them reach their goals. Then, once the book is ready, he applies his book marketing expertise to equip our authors with the knowledge they need to reach their readers, plan their marketing and maximise the long term potential of their book.

Andrew Chapman

Production Manager

Andrew is our hands-on production guru, with a wealth of experience in the essentials of crafting and creating books.

With nearly 30 years' experience as a writer, editor and designer of books and magazines for an impressive range of clients and publications, Andrew loves the practical aspects of taking a book from raw text to finished product. As a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, he is highly skilled in ensuring his books meet the highest standards, and his extensive typesetting and book layout experience means he also understands how to make your book look the part.

Natalie Carthew

For over 25 years, Natalie has managed teams across a wide and varied range of businesses, from large multi-national corporations right down to local enterprises.

Now she's bringing her talents and vast wealth of sales, business development and operational experience to The Right Book Company.

Natalie first discovered her love of sales when she left behind the towers of Canary Wharf some ten years ago and set up her own business.  Highly skilled at building great relationships with clients and stakeholders, she sees every conversation as an opportunity.

Beverley Glick

Developmental Editor

Our editorial team is the best in the business, and Beverley is one of the wizards who works closely with our authors to help them write, shape and structure the best possible manuscript.

Beverley has been a professional writer and editor since the early Eighties. She started out as a music journalist (who coined the term “The New Romantics”) and went on to become the editor of pop magazine Record Mirror. She subsequently began a long career in national newspapers (at The Observer, Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Express) in a variety of roles including features writer, columnist, commissioning editor, production editor and sub-editor.
